The queue
Add the videos, match each one to a candidate, and Reelpass checks each against that candidate's board, names it, and compresses the ones over the limit, one after another.
Tokens: {forename} {surname} {instrument} {grade} {n}. Spaces and other characters become safe when the name is built. Boards with a fixed pattern ignore this and use theirs.

How the batch works
Save each candidate once: names, instrument, board, grade and the programme. When the videos come in, add them to the queue. Reelpass matches a file to a candidate when the surname is in the file name, and you can change the match. Each video is checked against its own candidate's board, so one queue can hold a performance grade, a digital grade and a recorded exam side by side.
Names come from your pattern, made safe for the board, or from the fixed pattern on the board that has one. Videos over the limit are compressed one after another, each with the sound copied untouched; videos already under it are offered under the new name. One file at a time? Use the video check.
